Flock Sires/Big boys
Finch Hill Stargazer
|
Our newest addition all the way from Arkansas - what a trip! He’s a stunning fawn kat/gul, and throws the most gorgeous lambs I could have ever hoped for. He produces lots of dark fleeces, with minimal lightening, and lordi the bodies on the lambs! (Check out our 2022 & 2023 lambs page to see more). He is top dog amongst the rams, but still gentle as can be with his ladies and his humans.
We are truly blessed to have him with us. <3 Nassa id: S53376 Dam: Shet-Tu Starburst Sire: Hidaway Farms Silver Birch D.O.B: 4/8/2019 |
Freddys Marzipan
|
Marzipan is a quite the ram, just an absolute stunner!. He’s a gentleman to his ladies, and takes a leader role in the ram pack. He and his sister Marmalade are both shaela with a pinch of Iset, and I am in love with the color. His confirmation is *chef kiss*, and his warm crispy fleece is gorgeous and springy.
I’m so proud of him, and I can’t wait to have him glowing up in our pastures for years to come. :) As/Aa BB/bb D/D Nassa id: S48641 Dam: Freddys Mabel Sire: Painted Knoll Androscoggin D.O.B: 3/21/2018 |
Freddys Schnitzel
|
Our handsome man Schnitzel is quite the character. To be honest I never planned on him being a breeding ram, I actually kept him around because he’s a love bug, with a buttery fleece. Over the years he really came into his own, and when we were strapped for breeding rams last year, I tossed him in the ring. Turns out he creates absolutely lovely lambs, with wideswept horns, fab fleeces, and great structure.
Fun fact about this charmer, when he was about 4 months only he caught Juniper Berry’s horn in his mouth and split open his whole cheek! It took him a wile to adjust to his newly opened mouth, and was spilling out more cud then he was keeping in. Thankfully he just kept eating, and made it through with a new cheeky grin. :) Nassa id: S48639 Dam: White Pine Nina Sky Sire: Painted Knoll Androscoggin D.O.B: 3/20/2018 |
