2019 Lambs!
Olive Branch Cedar + Lucas
|
Bee balm (F) & Bossinova (M)
3/18/19 These twin greys are Cedar’s first lambs ever, and they are just wonderful! Both were born fat and healthy, and have become even more chonky the addition of our creep feeder. They both have some spotting, fleeces that are like silk, and great temperaments. We are planning on retaining Bee balm, because she really is turning into a stunner. I can’t wait to see how these two grow! |
Freddys Rhea + Red Bud Lucas
|
Florentine (M)
3/29/19 This single boy had so much patterning when he was born, that I didn’t even realize he was gulmoget until he was 24 hrs old!! Florentine is lightening up into a lustrious light brown, potentially fawn color [not 100%, only time will tell]. His horns are looking nice and wide, and his structure is just perfection. Not sure what the plan is for him yet, tbd. :) |
Olive Branch Amythest + Red Bud Lucas
|
Açaí (F) & Agave (M)
4/5/19 These two cuties are classic Amythest babies, sweet and fluffy! Agave is developing super wide horns [reminiscent of his half-brother Juniper Berry], and has a super soft and long fleece. He also just looks [and behaves] like a little teddy bear; he is just the sweetest. Açaí is becoming quite the looker, with a shorter and crimpier fleece then her brother. She is a grey/black spotted katmoget, and is also super sociable. |
Freddys Mabel + Freddys Rueben
|
Chutney (M) & Caraway (F)
4/10/19 These two beautiful brown babes are just what I was hoping for out of this pairing. Chutney is a georgous fine mioget [I hope... He may be fawn], and his sister Caraway is a gorgeous dark moorit, verging on dark brown. Both are pretty shy at the moment, but warm right up as soon as you get hands on them. Both have super soft fleeces, great structure, and lovely heads. I think i’ll be selling both, just because I want to hold out for a mioget ewe. *fingers crossed!* |
WP Nina Sky + Red Bud Lucas
|
Gelato (M)
4/10/19 Gelato is such a good boy. He is growing amazingly, and has fantastic poise and structure. His fleece is like butter, and I have hopes that he’ll make a perfect stud ram. Unfortunately we lost his twin due to maternal incompetence [looking at you Nina], so he had an upsetting start to life. After a few days of mourning, he rebounded and bonded to the other lambs perfectly. So proud of him <3. |
Freddys Shaniqua + Freddys Rueben
|
Vindaloo (F) & Vienna (F)
4/18/19 These two were just the perfect ending to a tragic lambing season. Twin dark brown girls, who just happen to be immediate lap lambs! They were born on my mother’s birthday, so we decided to name one after he favorite food [Vindaloo], and the other Vienna because I like alliteration... Also our family does trace back to Austria, so it’s not completely random. We all love these two so much, that we’ve decided to retain them both. What can I say, I’m In love! |
